In an effort to get information out to area residents on eco-conscious living, the local refuse and recycling company used this goingreen appointment calendar. During recycling seminars at schools, the Can Man mascot attended and handed out the calendar to children so they could take them home to their parents. They also distributed the calendars at recycling facilities. This calendar served its purpose as a valuable public service to residents and helped the company earn additional money with people recycling more items and making “green” choices.

A textbook publisher signed up to sponsor a pop-up coffee cart during finals week at a local university. The publisher wanted to build awareness of their brand as well as expand their network of on-campus contacts.
On the first day of finals week, a Koozie® Camron tumbler was delivered to each member of the faculty and staff, encouraging them to bring it to the cart for a free coffee fill-up. The publisher had sales staff at the cart during class hours to interact with visitors and provide additional information on their products. They decided to giveaway these BIC® Sticky Notepads, setting the artwork up with a fun design using UFO’s depicting a supernatural disaster along with their company information. Visitors to the booth were encouraged to add the notepads to their disaster preparedness kits so they could plan well and have their insurance information handy. The insurance company was so pleased with the response, they placed a re-order to giveaway the notepads at all remaining events for the year.
